How valuable is it for reps to be able to create your own Wi-Fi hot spot? From an upcoming Quick Bytes column

Your options for creating a personal Wi-Fi hot spot for your digital devices are growing. Some examples: The Novatel MiFi 2200, available from Verizon or Sprint, is a portable hot spot small enough to slip into a shirt pocket. Meanwhile, the Clear Spot from Clearwire is a 4G option available from Sprint. Clear Spot requires a USB modem and is bigger than the Novatel device. The CradlePoint PHS300 from CradlePoint Technology is said to work with dozens of phones and also USB modems. The latest way to create a mobile hot spot is with cellphones. The Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus offer this option. More phones with personal hot spots are on the way.
